Instructor Program

For the more serious kenpo karate practitioner! American Kenpo Karate offers a karate internship and instructor training program based on the American Kenpo Karate system. All instructors learn directly from Master Rick Jeffcoat. As an assistant instructor you will apprentice with Mr. Jeffcoat, as you learn teaching strategies for beginning martial arts students. When you reach the rank of head instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach your own class!

As a part of the kenpo karate instructor training certification, at Brown Belt level you will be required to teach a class under the supervision and tutelage of a Black Belt. And by Black Belt, you will be expected to teach your own class and mentor new martial artists into the karate instructor training program.
